SDAEYC Student members are vital to the future of our organization. In order to assist students in their professional growth and involvement in the field of early childhood, SDAEYC offers an annual scholarship to assist one student in attending the NAEYC Annual Conference in November.

Eligibility:

1. Must be an active SDAEYC member.

2. Open to part-time or full-time undergraduate, graduate, or Child Development Associate

   students. Proof of fall enrollment must be provided.

3. Past recipients of this award are ineligible to apply.

 

Requirements:

1. SDAEYC Student Scholarship application must be complete.

2. A letter of support from a professor or student group advisor and proof of fall enrollment in 6 or

   more credit hours must be provided with the application.

3. The application, letter of support and proof of enrollment must be submitted on October 1 to

   sdaeyc@gmail.com

4. The SDAEYC Student Scholarship recipient is responsible for NAEYC Conference registration, travel arrangements and other expenses. SDAEYC will provide reimbursement after the student has attended the conference and provides receipts for registration, travel and/or lodging and a completed SDAEYC request for reimbursement form. The SDAEYC Student Scholarship will not exceed $500.
